Born in eastern Europe, raised in the United States with an appreciation and understanding for old world values. I've been priveleged enough to have moved and traveled around quite a bit, which has allowed me to develop a keen understanding of what makes each person, place, and culture so special and unique. And in the past decade I've done my best to record my most loved moments.
Photography allows us to tell stories of lives in the past, present, and, at times, foreshadow the future. I find the most successful shots are found in a person's true, raw nature: the silence of their being. The semblance of a persons laugh, smile, stare, and body language all expose that persons true self, whether apparent or not.
The grandest achievement I have accomplished from my photography is the power to help people. There is nothing more rewarding than to see someones self confidence elevated because you helped he or she see how beautiful they are.
